Day Four

STARS AND STRIPESD

I can’t wait to start races again, hopefully that day will be soon.

It is now day four of the mandatory ‘stay at home’ order.  President Trump is about to sign the stimulus package into law, after Senators and Congress drug their feet getting something done.  I am just ready for normalcy, where we can all go back to work, and stimulate the economy with hard work and American know how.  I don’t think the country has been in this much turmoil in my memory since September 11, 2001.  The events that tragic day were evil to be sure, and Americans were frightened.  But we were also resilient, and we stood proud, and strong.  We will again, but we have to support each other, we have to help each other.  We must trust God above all, and pray.

The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not [a]want.
He makes me to lie down in [b]green pastures;
He leads me beside the [c]still waters.
He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will [d]dwell in the house of the Lord
[e]Forever.
